God’s will for all mankind – The Salvation of mankind 12:

God’s Plan for Man Reinstated:

Satan’s arrive on earth was announced by angels stating that, “terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.” Revelation 12:12, but Jesus’ arrival on earth was announced by angels as follows:

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

” Luke 2:10-14

Why did Jesus – the second Adam – come to earth? He came as a “saviour” of mankind (Luke 2:11). According to Strong’s Concordance, the word Saviour is a Greek word “sotel” explained as follows: Cognate: 4990 sōtr (a masculine noun, derived from 4982 /s, “save”) – properly, the Savior, Jesus Christ who saves believers from their sins and delivers them into His safetySee 4982 (sōzō). It is generally accepted by the Christian community that Jesus came to save mankind from sin. But was this “good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.Luke 2:10, only in respect to soul salvation? Vehemently the answer should be a “no”. Jesus came to (sōzō) mankind. According to Strong’s Concordance, the word (sōzō) is defined as follows: Strong’s #4982: sozo (pronounced sode’-zo)

from a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saos, “safe”); to save, i.e. deliver or protect (literally or figuratively):–heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole. Jesus came to restore that which the first man Adam had lost through sin. A majority of my blogging is going to concentrate on how Jesus came to (sōzō) – save – mankind from sin and its consequences. This will entail soul salvation, bodily healing, and material provision. The three pieces of (sōzō) constitute “wholeness”. Wholeness is clearly demonstrated in Jesus’s encounter with a demon possessed man of a place called Gadarenes. Mark and Luke depict the demented man as inhumanly strong that he could break fetters and chains and no man could restrain him. He was too violent, that no one dared to pass by his proximity. He was naked and cutting himself to bleeding with stones. He lived in the cemetery (in the tombs). Mark 5 & Luke 8. When Jesus met the man, he commanded the demons to come out of the man. The demons left the man and the bible states that they entered into a herd of pigs which the drowned but the man was made whole. When the dwellers of the city came to see the man out of whom Jesus had cast demons, it is stated that, 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” Luke 8:35

The man was saved and healed (right mind), and materially provided for (clothed). That is wholeness. Jesus’ atonement on Calvary included more than the forgiveness of sins.

Your sins are forgiven….Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. (To be continued in blog 13)

Model Prayer: Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Dear Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I am sorry for my sins, and I ask you to forgive me, wash me with your blood, and give me your Holy Spirit to teach and guide me. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you believed and prayed the above prayer, you are now a born again child of God.
